NMA Teams of The Week: Gameweek 5

Week 5 saw some huge scores and once again those scores were achieved without Kun playing and Zlatan doing little.  While they may still be the must have players for many, they are now clearly not the only route to go.

In FPL I had my best week of the season hitting 80pts as for Fantrax, well wait and see J

Onto the winners

FPL

Michael Plavchak -€” 94 points

Michael kept the faith with the Troll King handing him the armband.  That choice worked out a treat as he benefited by a questionable goal.  Elsewhere Raheem Sterling once again appears in a team of the week with his goal/assist and Andros Townsend had one of those weeks he is always capable of.  Jamie Vardy, Christian Fuches and Van Dijk added the gloss.

Fantrax - We have two winners hitting 169 points

Stats & Luck

This is already the second time Stat&Luck has won a Fantrax team of the week having done so in week 2.  169 points is pretty impressive given he gave up a minus score for his keeper and zero for Erisken.

Once again having Sterling clearly helps and had Alexis Sanchez scored the penalty he pinched from Santi he could well have gone close to the golden 200 point mark.

The other team that shared the spoils?  Well it's only bloody me Stall Express WHOOOO HOOOO

I was a point behind Stats&Luck last night but some overnight fiddling has brought a smile to my face and a share of top spot.

Despite saying how I disliked the fixture for Zlatan I picked him over Sanchez who I held all week.  Truthfully had I dropped him I would have put Rihad Mahrez in his spot.  Davies should have had a clean sheet and catching Colemans goal was lucky.
