The Premier League title race is looking a little boring so far. Thankfully our fantasy battles are more fun!

A midweek round of games kicks off with the Tuesday evenings ties:

Brighton v Crystal Palace

Leicester v Tottenham

Watford v Manchester United

West Brom v Newcastle

The games for Spurs and Man Utd are not must-win at this stage of the season, yet with City’s form, they do have that look to them.

Harry Kane scored 4 last season, so those of you with the captains armband on him may have high hopes. Tottenham currently lack the form they had late last season, and a game under the floodlights can up the game of the home side. Still, Kane is Kane, and anything is possible.

For Utd, it’s a very tricky game to Watford. The home side are a real banana-peel team to play, and they’ve regained their confidence. The Red Devils are struggling to score goals, and we saw a well organized Brighton side hold them to a tight score at the weekend. Romelu Lukaku blanked in that one and should have earned a ban for his kick out.

Richarlison is due a blank week, and this one is tough for him. A big performance from him may draw a January bid from a wealthier club.

The Brighton/Palace tie will hold interest for those of you holding the likes of Gross and Wilfred Zaha. A home win looks the pick, but Palace are improving.

WBA/Newcastle could easily finish nil-nil, which is why I will be playing Rob Elliot.

Have you put the armband on Mr Kane? Do you have players playing tonight? Who’s on your watch-list for the barn-door?
