Twas the night before game day, and all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, as my hand gripped my mouse
The line ups were ready as I leaned back in my chair
And hoped that when over, I would still have my hair
The children were laughing all snug in their beds
As visions of zeros danced in their heads
And Stall and his coffee, and Dave and his beer
Had just settled our brains with players we hold dear
When out on the pitch there arose such a clatter
I sprang from my bed to see what was the matter
I opened up windows, and knew in a flash
Ninja injuries were here, I threw up in the trash
The moon on the breast of the new fallen snow
Gave a luster to my tears as my fears began to grow
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear
A game day not closed, but the deadline was near
I scrambled around so lively and quick
And tried to remember the wisdom of our founder St. Nik
He would whistle and shout and call players by name
Now Salah , now Hazard now Sanchez and Wayne
On Vardy, On Aguero, On KDB and Kane
He spoke not a word but went straight to his work
And answered all post, even when we acted like a jerk
And laying his finger aside of his nose
Gave us a nod, and up the fantasy leagues he rose
But I heard him exclaim as he turned off the light
Merry Christmas to all
And to all a good night!
Thank you all for another WONDERFUL year.
