Week 27 is a full week once again, let’s take a look at the fixtures and picks.

Manchester United v Bournemouth

Stoke City v Middlesbrough

Leicester City v Hull City

Swansea v Burnley

Watford v Southampton

West Brom v Crystal Palace

Liverpool v Arsenal

Tottenham v Everton

Sunderland v Manchester City

West Ham United v Chelsea

With your FPL choices be careful to only look to buy players from those teams playing in week 28. In Fantrax buy who you like.

Kasper Schmeichel

Just over 4m in Fantrax and playing behind a side that suddenly found themselves the moment their manager was fired. The Hull game will tell us whether that is the norm.

The reported/alleged actions of some of the Foxes players are shameful if true, but that’s is the world we live in. None of us know what has gone on but it seems many neutral fans now want the Foxes to go down as punishment.

My instinct is there is some truth behind the rumours and therefore I like the champions to back up the win over Liverpool with more won points over Hull.

Lukasz Fabianski

Swansea have improved in recent weeks and Burnley have failed to win in 12 away games. 4.8m in FPL he can do a job for two weeks for you. At 1m in Fantrax he will be in Ken’s team, what more advice do you need?

Alfie Mawson

Young Mawson has taken his chance in the Swans 1st team brilliantly. Now a certain starter if fit and 3 goals in 7 games is better than many an attacking player in the Premier League. Fantastic price in FPL and great fixtures over the next two.

Christian Fuchs

16 Fantrax points and very lively display against pool makes Fuchs a premium price defender for a one week shot.

Chris Smalling/Antonio Valencia

Forever “Mike” to me Smalling is the cheap way into the United defence in Fantrax. Valencia meanwhile is the defender who offers you points at both ends of the pitch.

Jack Stephens

At 1.59m in fantrax a true filler. Stevens had a Zlatan lesson in the cup final but has been very good in his run in the Saints side. I feel he starts again this week.

Paul Pogba

Pogba is still finding his feet at United. Once again in a big game he didn’t perform but he is a player who can bully weaker/less driven opposition. I expect double figures this week against a Cherries side who could be the worse defence in the league right now.

Wilfred Ndidi

Here we have a sleeper, priced at just 1.81m in Fantrax he has returned 22 points in his last 3. The eye-catching stat I like it is the 8 shots on goal has in that period. We saw in the cup against Derby County he can strike a ball and that 1st league goal can’t be far off.

Siggy

Home to the side that gives up more possession than any other, 3 goals and 4 assists in his last 7 he is a must in FPL and time to get Siggy with it even at 23m in Fantrax.

Raheem Sterling

Should City get a week 27 double then Sterling should be in your thoughts. At 7.8m in his last 10 league games he has 2 goals and 8 assists, that consistency with that price means Sterling is likely to be the pickup for the majority of fantasy players in FPL

Robbie Brady

On set pieces and returning good points Brady is an old favourite. Not the best fixture for him perhaps but a steal at his price.

Nacer Chadli

I tipped Morrison last week who let me down. Likely he does the business the week after but its Chadli who I like this time. He had a hot streak earlier this season and he may be starting one again as winter ends. 1 goal and 2 assist in his last 3 and it’s hard to see Palace providing back to back clean sheets.

Phillipe Coutinho or Sadio Mane

The two most likely Pool scorers and Liverpool are great in the big games this season. Arsenal look a very fragile side right now and the Reds must bounce back from their surprise loss at Leicester.

Mane tends to play better in the big games while Coutinho is just a very good fantasy pick.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic

What a season Zlatan is having. At 35 it’s even more surprising and poor Bournemouth could not be playing him at a worse time. I think he scores but the question is will it be more than once?

Kun

Facing Sunderland and certain to start I’d be amazed not to see him in your Fantrax side. Question is will he be in your FPL squad should City win their cup reply and open up a double week?

Harry Kane

I don’t like the fixture much but he is the type of player you can be worried about not having. Not worth picking up in FPL with a blank next week. In Fantrax I have yet to decide.

Jamie Vardy

3 goals in 2 games and 6m in Fantrax he will be tempting. Vardy does little bar his goals in Fantasy football but as we know he is a streaky scorer.

Manolo Gabbiadini

He has been brilliant since arriving at Southampton and his second goal in the cup final was a special finish. Watfords defending is shaky and his confidence must be huge. Under 3m in Fantrax is a price to tempt many.

Alexis Sanchez

His team are in a period of doubt and he will have less of the ball than he often does this week but you can never rule him out. Pool have shown they can concentrate better in the big games defensively shutting out City, United and Spurs at Anfield. Still its Sanchez and he always give you something.

There are too many forward options this week so a Saturday morning swapping them around seems likely for me. Should City get the double I just don’t know if I can resist the potential Kun going crazy chance (I’m 31 points behind in my private league).
