First up as far as Fantrax goes and as I write, the game week period has been amended to April 19th to 27th meaning they are going like for like with FPL.

I would suggest however we all keep a close eye on this. Previously the game week differed and even now in the adjust my roster section the players are not showing multi games.

The double game options

Crystal Palace, Middlesbrough and Manchester United all face two games in the period.

Palace go to Liverpool, then host Tottenham.

Boro head to Bournemouth and host Sunderland

Utd have two away days, first at Burnley and then the derby at Manchester City.

On paper Palace have the toughest games facing two of the top four sides. However its worth noting the Eagles have recently won at Chelsea and hammered Arsenal 3-0, they are not to be underestimated.

Boro have the tempting fixtures but Bournemouth really need something in case they get sucked into a relegation battle. Sunderland is a derby game and while its no match to the one against Newcastle, it will be under lights and a battle.

A double week for United should make us dribble with temptation but its hard to know who to pick with the resting and rotation going on. If they get knocked out in the Europa Cup QF then we can look to load up on the likes of Zlatan, Rashford perhaps Pogba/Herrera and the defensive options. My guess is whatever that result Jose will rest some of his best players against Burnley in preparation for the Derby.

David De Gea

There are still some concerning noises coming out from the rumours pages over Dave United future. If Jose doubts his mind is fully focused Its possible he gets rest at Burnley.

While plenty will think the clean sheet will come in game one, I don't see a clean sheet in either game. Burnley have given every team bar Spurs a tough game at home this season and as Jose will point out will have have a full weeks preparation in what is possibly their biggest game of the season.

Wayne Hennersey

Palace defending had been improving but they will be without both Sakho and Scott Dann for the Liverpool game. Then facing a spurs side that sense a creaking Chelsea side its hard to see clean sheets in either game.

Victor Valdes

If Victor is fit then he maybe he is worth a shot although I'm not sure how comfortable we can be that he plays twice.

PVA

A true fantasy favourite but like so many DG players will he play twice? Just back from injury you have to think he starts once and perhaps comes of the bench in the other. The question is for his price do you think he will return the required points return. In FPL I think I'd leave but in Fantarx he may just be worth a gamble.

Joel Ward/Martin Kelly

Ward is the safest starter and a phantom machine at times will likely return you 15+ points in Fantrax and is nice and cheap in FPL.

Kelly seems to have a great chance of two games and is a filler price in either game,

Eric Bailly/Marcos Rojo

With Jones and Smalling out you would think the pair could start both games but with Jose and the number of games they have played you are taking a risk. Blind could well take one game perhaps making Rojo the bigger risk.

Antonio Valencia

Again could play both but recent games show he could face a risk of being benched against Burnely.

Boro defense

If you are buying you are chasing clean sheets as they do know how to defend as a unit. The problem is they need at least 4 points and really 6 from the next couple games. They will need to commit more players forward and could get punished chaing games.

Still if you like them then Ben Gibson is the standout choice. You would expect plenty of BS, PI etc against a very attacking Bournemouth and the real clean sheet shot in the Sunderland game.

Man Utd midfield

For their prices in FPL there is only one option that remotely tempts me and that is Paul Pogba and he doesn't tempt me much at this stage of the week. I still think there is one big haul from him before the season over and I thought he played much better in the Chelsea game. Once again we wonder if he will start twice.

Milivojevic

Cheap and may have penalty duties. He wont go points crazy but he wont blown your bank to buy him.

Yohan Cabaye

2 goals in 2 games the Cabaye of old looks like he is back. He could hold penalties instead of Milivojevic and is priced great in both games.

Andros Townsend

He finished last season like a fantasy train and he is showing signs of doing so again this time. A goal and 2 assists in his last 3 backs this up. He should find the space he enjoys running into against pool and seems likely to score well in Fantrax.

Wilfred Zaha

The clear FPL top double week choice for many has been showing just why Man Utd spent money on him a couple seasons ago. With rumours of a Tottenham summer bid he is in the window and that can either make a player blossom or freeze.

Stewart Downing

One of those fantasy players that doesn't work out for me. So often over the years I have picked him and so often he performs either the week before or week after I rather than the week in my side. You would think 6 pointers against B'mouth/Sunderland will be territory he suits and maybe for old times sake and his cheap price I will give him one more shot.

Zlatan

He will play the derby and will get minutes against Burnley. Maybe Jose will wish to rest him in the week 35 game when hosting Swansea. It would be 4 days before the Europa League Semi final 1st leg. If that's the case and considering he will have a weeks rest coming into the QF 2nd leg could he play the Anderlecht, Burnley and City games from the start?

Christian Benteke

Benteke can be such a frustrating fantasy player but when given a reliable supply line has the potential to reward the bold fantasy player. Word of warning for any Fantrax side, amazingly Benteke committed no fouls against Leicester City which is unheard of. I will be having a go with him in FPL but may leave in Fantrax.

Alvaro Negredo

One more frustrating fantasy player but he does have fixtures on his side. I think a better pick in FPL but susceptible to reduced minutes.

Single game options

The obvious Alexis Sanchez, Harry Kane, Coutinho, Siggy, Lukaku, Kun, Eden Hazard and Diego Costa are all facing great potential fixtures.

I like Manolo Gabbiadini against a Chelsea side who have not kept a clean sheet in 10 and really like him if Spurs win the cup semi putting the pressure on.

As always in Fantrax you should be looking to load up with 11 double game players assuming of course that we are getting DG for Palace, Boro and Utd.

In FPL any transfer this week should be a DG option. The obvious choice is whether to take Zlatan into our squads. My choice will be dependant on the Europa league game. If utd make it to the semi I will stick with Kun's home game, if they dont Zlatan will be in my side most likely for Kun.
