Straight into week 31 we go and the player picks to suit

Before you start

Kasper Schmeichel

I think we know it wans’t the opposition figuring out the Leicester City side that lost Claudio Ranieri his job, it was the choice of some of the players themselves. Now in fine form Leicester are shooting themselves to safety and Sunderland arrive having failed to score in their last 5 games.

David Ospina

Something isn’t quite right at the Gunners but at least this round they face a side with similar problems. Slavin Bilic is a man who is fighting for his job but the performances and results suggest its becoming an uphill battle for him. An Arsenal clean without Laurent Koscielny is a big ask but In Fantrax Ospina is bottom price 1m pick up.

Tom Heaton

No goal in 4 away games for Stoke sounds like a trap doesn’t it, still if you have Heaton in FPL you have to start him in this one.

Gabriel Paulista

Gabriel will take Koscielny’s spot and is super cheap in Fantrax.

Christian Fuchs

It was the Foxes right back not left back who added the attacking returns to his clean sheet on Saturday, it can be the left backs turn against the Black Cats.

Andrew Robertson

Man of the match Robertson was his team leader in gaining possession, touches, passes and interceptions against West Ham and faces a Boro side who have failed to score in 5 away games.

Mamadou Sakho

Super cheap and racking up the phantoms Sakho could offer you a filler spot in your defence. Word of warning he will not have a double week in week 34 (I’ve already made that mistake).

Riyad Mahrez

Mahrez’s performance levels haven’t increased as much as some of his teammates since Ranieri’s departure but still Sunderland are in town.

Kamil Grosicki/Lazar Markovic

I really like Grosicki as a fantasy player and we are now starting to see end product from him. 2 assists against the Hammers makes him a great option at his Fantrax price.

Markovic’s move to Liverpool may have come too soon but he is also starting to settle at Hull. One more great value pick this week.

Philipe Coutinho

With Mane and Lallana out and Coutinho back in form he is a must have against Bournemouth in any fantasy game.

Eden Hazard

Hazards rumoured move to Real Madrid hasn’t stopped him in his tracks and I can see him ripping Jesus Navas to pieces both in normal play and on the counter.

Deli Alli/Christian Eriksen

With 9 wins in 10 the Tottenham boys are white hot right now. Playing some fantastic football Alli looks a global star in the making and Spurs seem sure to have a fight on their hands to keep him from the clutches of others over the next couple transfer windows.

Alli will enjoy the slack marking Swansea still offer and I’d be surprised if he fails to scores.

Erisken meanwhile is the playmaker behind much of the Spurs attacks and perhaps his best form since joining. He needs to add more goals to his game to take it to the next level but will get chances in this one.

Jamie Vardy

Its 4 goals and 2 assists his last 4 for Vardy who is back to the form of last season. In Fantrax he offers few points bar his goals/assist but in FPL is a must this week.

Alexis Sanchez

At times playing on his own, Sanchez may have had a drama queen moment or two over the last few weeks but he plays with the work ethic and aggression any fan expects. He will score in this one and may go big. Arsenal must try and keep him in the summer but you must find way to fit him in your fantasy teams this week.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic

The only consistent player in the Manchester United attack has had a breather while his teammates failed to capitalise on top 4 rival’s mistakes. I can’t see the Red Devils blanking twice in a row and Zlatan is the obvious solution.

Divock Origi/Roberto Firmino

Firmino is your man if you have the money and squad space. Origi is the option should you lack either.

Diego Costa

He bullied the living daylights out of the City rear guard in the first game between them and I don’t see why that will change in week 31. Chelsea will pick City off on the break and Costa may even score his first home double of the season.
