Reclamation Sunday

How's the double week working out for you? If you're wondering how I'm doing, note that today is now dubbed "Reclamation Sunday". A quick recap of yesterday shows that I do not own any of the top performers such as Wilfried Zaha, or Gabriel Jesus. Let's not live in the past; look to what's in store today.

Newcastle vs Arsenal

Rafa Benitez has the Magpies two points away from the sacred 40 point mark and in great form coming into today's game. Their in-form talents such as Kenedy, Jonjo Shelvey and Ayoze Perez have a great chance against a team just back from Moscow.

Arsenal are a team many may disregard at present. The Gunners have a Europa League semifinal on the horizon after all. Overlook them at your peril though friends: Three wins on the trot led by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang show that the Premier League is not being ignored by Arsene Wenger.

Manchester United vs West Brom

United are the final double-week team to take the field for their first match. They bring with them the man leading the "Reclamation Sunday" charge, one Mr Romelu “The Troll” Lukaku. Three goals in his last five games give hope to those of us with short memories who placed our faith in him by giving him our captain’s armband. David de Gea and Paul Pogba will also be counted on by many. A loss today will mean that Manchester City win the title, so expect a United win.

Tickets are being already being printed for West Brom’s return to the Championship. It’s too bad their safe-standing plan was rejected; they need to cram in more fans to offset the revenue loss that relegation means for them.

A hugely disappointing season is spinning to an ignominious end for a team many believe have severely underachieved. It will be a hard task to come away from Old Trafford with even a point; I suggest they soak in the atmosphere because it may be awhile before they are back to visit. If you own any West Brom players, then good luck to you.

My FPL happiness today is entirely dependent on Lukaku. What are you hoping for today? What other factors have your interest among our many fantasy formats? Please let us know in the comments below.
