Manchester City’s 2-1 victory over Liverpool yesterday cut the gap between them to just 4 points, ensuring that the race for the league title will remain white-hot. As Pep Guardiola said afterwards, “We knew that if we won, we would be in contention to fight for the Premier League; if we lose, it is over.”
Certainly Pep was pleased with his team’s result this week, but were you happy with yours? Let’s have a look at how this week’s top fantasy teams performed, and you can benchmark yourself against the best in the business.

Fantrax: Never Manage Alone League
Our own blog staff member Team stallexpress was the game-week 21 winner in the 11-man NMA league. He registered 130 points, with huge contributions from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (21), Son Heung-Min (19), and Harry Kane (15). Stall was also the only manager in this week’s top 4 to select Marko Arnautovic — a prescient call that netted him 25 points. Behind Stall were Team Captaingerrard with 137 points and Team DevilinRed with 117.
Overall, 請你食頹飯 sits atop the leader board with an even 2200 points. But the competition for the summit is tight, with JenJen11 trailing by a mere 4 points, and Team stallexpress adrift by only 6.

Now that you know how Never Manage Alone’s black belts did this week, how do your scores stack up? Please post your results in the comments below, and let us know what transfer moves you are making ahead of the upcoming game week.
Also: Don’t forget to look ahead at upcoming UK weather when the next deadline approaches. This is the time of year when games get postponed by ice and snow (even a little left over can make the venue “unsafe” for fans to attend). Don’t be the fantasy manager with all his eggs in a P-P match!
