The Endgame is here! We will laugh, we will cry, we will stare into the difficult challenges that lie ahead, we will wonder what are we going to do when it’s all said and done.
Happy Friday folks, what a great few days lie ahead. We have Friday night football with Liverpool in action, Avengers in theaters, and Game of Thrones on our televisions. Three weeks are all that remain in the Premier League, and we are no closer to knowing how the final table will look. The winner, top four, Europa League spots, and final relegation place are still left to play for. King Sav and his team It’s Lit still sit atop the NMA “BTB” League, while you can find me all the way down in position #309, which tells you what a bad season it has been for me.
For our game-week 36 preview let’s have a look at some of the major questions on the minds of FPL managers.
Are you having chips with that?
Do you have any chips left? Will you be using them in week 36? both Liverpool and Manchester City have favorable fixtures where a chip such as Triple Captain will be tempting to use. Huddersfield have conceded a whopping 10 goals in the previous three games, which makes the Liverpool front three great candidates for using the chip. Questions include: Does Mo Salah’s New York trip this week for Time Magazine mean he will be rested? With the Champions League clash with Barcelona next week, does it mean limited minutes for the likes of Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino?
Well, we shall see the confirmed ‘Pool lineup before the Fantrax deadline anyway.
Who wants a top four place?
Arsenal have been poor on the road. Will you be trusting Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Co. on their travels to Leicester where Brendan Rodgers has the team playing attractive football? Manchester United and Chelsea meet in a clash of teams who have been trying their best to lose a grip on a top four place. Other than Eden Hazard, whom do you fancy from these teams? Tottenham also have a Champions League semifinal ahead, so rotation may be an issue. Which players are going to be in your lineups?
Are mid-table teams already in vacation mode?
This is an important question that we face every season regarding teams that have reached the 40 point safety mark but are not in contention for a European place. Do you avoid players from such squads? That weighed heavily on my mind this week as I pondered a Wilfried Zaha buy.

I hope the early deadline didn’t surprise you friends! Grab your favorite beverage and enjoy the football. For those of you using a chip this week, I wish you success. Let us know which player is your triple captain if you are using that particular chip. And Fantrax fans should come in early to see two lineups!
