Game Week 33 FPL Pre-Deadline & Matchday Fantasy Live Chat

New, comments

Does your FPL side have 11 players for the blank game week? Who will be your “hero” as we wait on The Avengers?

Let’s address the main question on everyone’s mind first, who of you were among the lucky ones to get Avengers tickets?

Next order of business is bringing Fantrax and FPL back into sync: Fantrax continues the GW-33 that it entered on Tuesday, so it has no deadline this weekend. FPL starts GW-33 today (Friday!), so get yer business done in the next couple hours. Fantrax has no immediate decisions, but all are invited into the chat as we watch the points roll in (or slip away) Friday - Monday.

Now let’s get to which FPL managers have been able to successfully navigate a blank GW-31, followed by a DGW-32, and now another blank. You can walk into the boss’s office and ask for a raise if the past couple weeks were met with green arrows, list it on your curriculum vitae because you are special.

Six weeks remain in the Premier League season, and we still have no idea who will win the title or finish in the top four places. Liverpool will start game-week 33 hoping to once again apply pressure on Manchester City, who will be busy with FA Cup duties. More importantly for us FPL managers, many will aim to challenge King Sav and his team It’s Lit in NMA’s “BTB” FPL league. Marvel fans all have a favorite Avenger; in whom will you put your trust this week with the armband to be your “hero”.

The game of the week kicks off at Goodison Park on Sunday. Everton face Arsenal, both teams coming off great wins last week. Play-makers like Gylfi Sigurdsson and Aaron Ramsey (late fitness check) should be central to the proceedings and this should be a game featuring lots of attacking football. Fans of Chelsea and Manchester United will be hoping for some assistance from Marco Silva and his men. Four points against their past two big-six opponents the show that the Toffees are not afraid to go toe to toe with the top sides in the division. Arsenal have quietly risen to a top four position, when many thought Unai Emery’s army would have to wait another season.

PS: We (both FPL & Fantrax) have another Friday deadline coming on April 12; tune in early so you won’t miss it!)
