GOALKEEPERS

Peter Gulacsi
The Hungarian international goalkeeper produced a string of fantastic saves in the first leg to keep Spurs attackers off the scoresheet.
Wojceich Szcezney (Juventus)
The Italian champs took a huge step in the race for the Serie A title by defeating direct rivals Inter Milan. A clean sheet bodes well for the visit of Lyon.
Manuel Neuer (Bayern Munich)
A tepid first leg performance from Chelsea meant that the German number one was rarely tested during their convincing away 1st leg win. Home comforts promise more of the same.
Jaume Domenech
The French stopper was on the wrong side of an attacking blitz in the first leg so he will need to keep things quiet if Valencia are to stand any chance of an unlikely comeback.
Marc-Andre Ter Stegen
The German enigma will be the last line of defence against Lorenzo Insigne and company. Saves and clean sheet potential could be on the cards.

DEFENDERS

Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool, €7.0m)
Should be heavily involved at both ends of the pitch in front of the baying Kop.
Marcel Sabitzer
The Austrian full back is up against a threadbare Spurs and gets forward well from his favored right back slot.
Nelson Semedo
The speedy Portuguese wing back is a great shout for a clean sheet and possible attacking returns.
Renan Lodi
A strong first leg showing should see staunch rearguard action from Diego Simeone’s men in the pivotal 2nd leg encounter. The Uruguayan full back is a shoe in at that price in an Atletico defense.
Matthias De Ligt
A surprise first leg loss means that Juventus can ill afford to concede in the 2nd leg – which bodes well for the Dutchman’s clean sheet potential.

MIDFIELDERS

Serge Gnabry
The German winger produced a display of ruthless efficiency in the first leg and will look to put the Londoners to the sword once again.
Sadio Mane
Liverpool’s form has hit the rocks at the wrong time. The Senegalese dynamo will need to deliver the goods against a watertight Atletico defense.
Kevin De Bruyne
The Belgian midfielder put in a virtuoso shift in the first leg classic to put City in control of the tie. An open game here
Jadon Sancho
The England winger was a constant thorn in the side of PSG in the first leg. Expect another strong showing in this critical encounter.
Carlos Soler
The dimunitive Spanish technician has a knack for delivering for Valencia at just the right time and there is not better time than an elimination game against plucky Atalanta.

FORWARDS

Cristiano Ronaldo
Cometh the hour, cometh the man. Trailing after the first leg, it would take a brave person to bet against CR7 doing what he does best to deliver the goods.
Robert Lewandowski
Bayern’s Polish hitman sits atop the Champions League scoring charts and has an opportunity to put distance away from the competition in this tie.
Lionel Messi
The Argentinian as always will be the centerpiece for Barcelona as they aim to make home field advantage count against visiting Napoli.
Timo Werner
The highly touted German striker scored the vital first leg goal and will relish the chance to tackle an injury ravaged Spurs team in front of his home fans.
Kylian Mbappe
The French striker has been in red hot form recently and will be the architect in chief as PSG attempt to overhaul their first leg loss to progress to the next round.
Erling Braut Haaland
What a first leg show from the Norwegian sensation. Pace, power and ruthless finishing secured a result for Dortmund in the 1st leg and all eyes will be on him in the 2nd.
