Round 35’s raft of weekend games is complete, so we now turn our attention to game-week 36. When this upcoming slate of fixtures concludes, we’ll be less than two weeks away from the Grand Finale on 26 July!
Let’s run through the weekend’s schedule and check the injury reports for each club.
~
Tuesday, 14 July
Chelsea had been rolling and putting up points until a rough loss at West Ham. They need this win to stay in the hunt for Champions League. Norwich have not won a game sine they returned, have scored only once during that time, and have now been officially relegated. This is by far the best match-up of the week.
Note: We should have confirmed lineups for this match ahead of the Fantrax deadline, so join us in the count-down hour to see what differential Chelsea players you can cram into your Fantrax rosters. For example, if Frank starts a cheap unexpected forward, then you might just find him the enabler you need to swing some other transfer, so don’t be late
Chelsea outs and doubts: Kante is still a doubt for Chelsea. Andres Christiensen may be back.
Norwich outs and doubts: None new.

Burnely have neither given up or scored more than one goal per game since the restart. They performed well at Liverpool and deserved the point. Wolves have a lot to play for and need the win to stay in the hunt for European football next year.
Burnley outs and doubts: None new.
Wolves outs and doubts: Pedro Neto is a doubt.

Manchester City vs Bournemouth
Bournemouth’s huge (and surprise) win against Leicester kept their hopes alive! This is why we love that game. You just never know. That being said... Manchester City have been rolling. 10 goals in the last two games, and they have only given up 1 goal in their last 4. When they are clicking, City are fantastic to watch.
Manchester City outs and doubts: Still no Aguero, but none new.
Bournemouth outs and doubts: Joshua King and Nathan Ake have made the injury list.
~
Newcastle are much more solid at home, and Spurs are much less solid on the road. That makes for an interesting game. Can Tottenham salvage their season still? They need a win here to even have a chance.
Newcastle outs and doubts: Isaac Hayden, Sean Longstaff, and Andy Carroll remain doubtful.
Tottenham outs and doubts: Eric Dier is still out for disciplinary reasons.
~
I honestly am not sure what to think about this game. Liverpool already have the title, but continue to play at high levels. Arsenal seem doomed to a mid-table finish, but have a FA Cup Semi Final game that may be taking their focus.
Arsenal outs and doubts: Matteo Guendouzi is out for discipline reasons. Eddie Nketiah is out with a red card. Bernd Leno,h, Mesut Ozil, and others remain on the injured list.
Liverpool outs and doubts: James Milner, Jason Henderson, and Joel Matip.
~
Villa’s big win gave them some hope in the battle to stay in the EPL, and they need this win. Everton have been uninspired to say the least. This is not a matchup I’m paying a lot of fantasy attention to.
Everton outs and doubts: Mason Holgate and André Gomes should be available, with Yerry Mina more doubtful.
Aston Villa outs and doubts: Defenders Kortney Hause, Bjorn Engels, and Neil Taylor are all on the injury report.
~
After a couple of initial setbacks, Sheffield are surging. They are back playing with the confidence and fearlessness that got them where they are. Leicester on the other hand are at 6’s and 7’s. Caglar Soyuncu will miss the rest of the season, but hopefully Ben Chilwell and James Maddison return. This is a massive game for both teams.
Leicester outs and doubts: Caglar Soyuncu red card suspension. Maddison and Chillwell should be back. Ricardo Pereira still out.
Sheffield United outs and doubts: None new.

Crystal Palace vs Manchester United
Crystal Palace are struggling and are conceding goals at a high rate. They have lost their last 4 games. Manchester United, however, may be the hottest team in the EPL. Even with a disappointing draw against Southampton, they are scoring goals and playing with a swagger we haven’t since Ole was playing. They are the only unbeaten team in the restart and are playing for Champions League football.
Crystal Palace outs and doubts: Christian Benteke is suspended for his red card. James Tomkins and Gary Cahill are listed on the injury report.
Manchester United outs and doubts: None new.

This may be the game with the least implications for the league, but Saints played against MU as if it mattered, so manager might have mojo. Brighton aren’t officially safe yet and have continued to play hard. Danny Ings is still aiming for the golden boot.
Southampton outs and doubts: None new.
Brighton outs and doubts: None new.

This is a massive relegation 6-pointer to end game-week 36... both hang at the precipice, so each must smell opportunity from the other. Tied on points at 34, a win for either... a tie helps (or hurts) them both. West Ham and Watford both won big mid week. I admit, I’m really excited for this one.
West Ham outs and doubts: Felipe Anderson is still a doubt.
Watford outs and doubts: Troy Deeney picked up a knock. Hard to believe that he won’t be in this big game.

With only three games left, each point (in EPL and in Fantasy) is potentially massive. Are you ready? What last minute changes are you considering? How are you feeling going into the home stretch?
