Paul
After using the Free Hit chip for the blank game-week 18, my team has reverted to its GW-17 deadline lock, and now I have one free transfer to move forward. There are reports that the Leeds vs Southampton fixture may be postponed (due to the FA Cup fixtures), but Bamford and Dallas will still have a favorable home fixture against Brighton. I’m in the fortunate position of every player in my side except Son Heung-Min being in line to play twice. James Ward-Prowse has struggled to bank points since I bought him a few weeks ago, so he may be the player I move drop. Here is my starting point with the free transfer yet to play and £2.1Mil in the Bank:

FPL GW-18 is ongoing, and we are already thinking about DGW-19. Three matches are already over with little to show for them, Aaron Wan-Bissaka doing best at 6 points, Bruno Fernandes at 2. Wolves’ Nelson Semedo canceled his minutes played by conceding two goals and coughing up a yellow card. My opponent in-progress in GW-18 is Ali from Episode 4; he may be doing even worse than I am with Dominic Calvert-Lewin injured and Grealish not playing in this desert-like week. For DGW-19 my team goes back to the lineup that bagged me 93 points in GW-17.

With one free transfer and 0.1 mil in the bank, I do not see how my team can improve. Except for Son and Jamal Lewis, my squad players have two matches each. As a result, I may exchange the latter, but what can you really get at 4.4? With limited options, I will probably hold onto my free transfer and try to bring in Grealish somehow for GW-20.
Moving to the real subject of DGW-19. Whom do I pick as captain!? Kevin De Bruyne seems like the safe bet with two home games, hosting Crystal Palace and Aston Villa. But I may just surprise Paul by picking Soucek who also plays two home games (Burnley and West Brom). Robertson does not seem like a bad option either with two home games (Burnley and league-leading Manchester United). This will keep on cooking in my head on low fire since I cannot stop thinking about how my GW-18 captain Harry Kane is going to to get me out of the average score zone later tonight.
