A last chance for certain clubs, a test for Manchester United and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, a gauge of Liverpool’s mettle, and hopefully goals galore!

MD-4 Build-Up

Mere hours separate us from UCL MD-4 kick off time. The highlight clashes of MD-4 are repeats of MD-3, but with a change of venue. Manchester United’s new-found tactics will make their way to Bergamo, Italy to play against injury-stricken Atalanta. Seville welcomes Lille for a continuation of their 0-0 draw in France; each club will hope it can close the gap on group leaders Salzburg. Jorgan Klopp’s Liverpool hosts Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid for another round of world class football. With a few broken claws, Dortmund cannot wait to get their paws on Ajax in Germany. Finally, Red Bull Arena will witness what could be the fatal act of its home team RB Leipzig when its hosts PSG’s all-stars.

Before delving into the team news to put on the final touches on your team selections for MD-4, check out NMA’s coverage starting with MD-4 Fantasy Preview. Next move on to NMA’s player picks article, and then allow a few minutes of your time to rate Chris’ MD-4 team.

One of the major items of injury news that surfaced on Monday was Lionel Messi’s knee concerns, which make him doubtful to play against Leipzig. Naglesmann’s Bayern press conference was as vague as it can be; if you can figure it out please let me know. Barcelona released a statement highlighting the returns of Ansu Fati, Frankie de Jong, Dembele and Ronald Araujo. Victor Lindelof missed the trip to Italy due to a knock in training. For the same match, Djimisti and Palomino returned to the squad facing Manchester United. Max Allegri confirmed both Federico Chiesa and De Ligt are ready to play. The return of Christian Pulisic was trending heavily on social media as well after Thomas Tuchel’s press conference where he confirmed Mason Mount will miss the flight due to illness.
