Man City stole the headlines this game-week, convincingly thumping Liverpool 4-1. Those who backed the right Citizens were rewarded. Tottenham bounced back from a terrible run of form, boosted by the return of talisman Harry Kane who gave a knock-on boost to Son Heung-Min.
Soucek has recently been in favor after strong form, but he was unlucky to see red (since rescinded). It’s deja vu all over again because the same ref gave a similar red card to Jan Bednarek the week before, and it was similarly rescinded. FPL will probably never refund the points lost, but we’re still watching Fantrax to see if/when its stats catch up and post the RCR’s. Commish Jeff assures us that he will use commish tools if they don’t.
Official FPL Game
As you can see, I earned a strong score of 90 points, a decent amount higher than the average of 58. The captain choice finally paid off (for the most part), better than my last couple of captain returns when they blanked. Soucek was thankfully benched, however so was Justin. My transfer in was Coufal -> Shaw, so I should’ve hit the 100 point mark, but I’m thinking with one eye on the future. I’m now in the top 26,000 and up to 46th in the Never Manage Alone “BTB” league. The Annunaki did break 100 points, with 109! Tottenham Tater Tots are still leading the race.
This is my maiden Fantrax season, having been focused on Official FPL historically. My NMA-11 team hasn’t been overly successful this year. I hit 100 points this week. Galacticos topped the week with 148.5! They were closely followed by GREEK SUNSEEKER with 146. Overall I’m placed 94th with 2960.5 points.
I earned a respectable 141.5 points in NMA-17 this game-week. UrAWA_ReDz topped the charts with 166.5! I’m sitting 47th overall with 3062.5 points. GREEK SUNSEEKER (again!) is top of the league with 3512 points being chased down by Team Enadiz2015.
