Rate My GW-32 Fantrax and FPL Teams

It’s a DGW for Spurs, and I’m investing heavily

FPL

This is my team from last week. Not terrible, but another missed pick for captain and serious points left on the bench (not that anyone would predict that outcome from Man City and Leeds). My back line was a total mess, and my “big name” players didn’t produce. Luckily, a few other picks did well enough to salvage a terrible week into an average one.

I haven’t hit confirm yet, but this is what I’m most likely going with. I hate losing Bruno Fernandes, but I just can’t see myself without Son Heung-Min and Lucas Moura on a DGW team. Losing Man United’s talisman is the only way for me to make that happen.

In general, I feel pretty good about this team, but honestly I never feel great about my FPL team.

I’m thinking about using my triple captain this week on Harry Kane or Son. I haven’t picked a captain correctly in a very long time. Right now, it’s Kane.

Fantrax

My strategy is simple for the week: Get Tottenham’s players. I’m a big fan of the double week. I’m going with eight Spurs as of this writing. I’ve had two straight horrid weeks (missed kickoff two weeks ago and missed pressing the confirm button last week — rookie mistakes). This roster may just be a sign of desperation:

I assume everyone will have Kane. Most will have Kane and Son. I think Moura is a must have too. Tanganga has probably been superseded by another defender, so he may morph into someone I can afford when I see Friday’s confirmed lineup.

I figure that each of the others Spurs players get at least one game, then a chance of extra minutes in the second game. I also have a chance to make further adjustments when we get the confirmed lineup before Friday’s kickoff. I’m trying to remain flexible, especially with my back line.

Gareth Bale is a big potential risk. Even if he doesn’t start Friday, he might stay in my lineup, expecting that he will play midweek. I don’t think he’ll be heavily owned, so he’s a risk I might stick with. He can score big when he plays well, and I could use the boost.

So, what do you think of my teams? Suggestions? Critiques? I could use some advice! Please answer the polls and comment below!

Good luck!
